Terms of service

Who you are dealing with
fira is a brand of Orbyt Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF. These terms are a contract between you and Orbyt Group Ltd. Prescribing decisions are made by GMC-registered prescribers, and medicines are dispensed by a registered pharmacy; fira arranges and delivers the service around them.
What fira is
fira provides an online menopause assessment and, where clinically appropriate, hormone replacement therapy prescribed by a registered prescriber, dispensed by a registered pharmacy and delivered to your door, with ongoing support from our care team.
fira is not an emergency service. If you are seriously unwell, call 999. For urgent medical advice, call 111 or contact your GP. Nothing in this service replaces emergency care.
Who can use it
- You must be 18 or over. Our assessment checks your date of birth and will stop if you are under 18.
- The service is designed for women experiencing perimenopause or menopause. If our assessment finds the service is not right for you, it will say so plainly and will not sell you anything.
- You must live in the United Kingdom; we deliver to UK addresses only.
- The account and the treatment are for you alone. Never share prescribed medicine with anyone else.
Your answers matter
Everything about your treatment rests on the answers you give: prescribing decisions are made on them. You agree to answer honestly and completely, and to tell us about changes that matter, such as a new diagnosis, a new medication, or pregnancy. If an answer raises a safety concern, the assessment will stop and point you to appropriate care before asking you for anything further.
Prescriptions
- A prescriber reviews every order. Treatment is never guaranteed: the prescriber may decline, or ask you for more information first.
- If your order is declined before your medicine is dispensed, you receive a full refund of that payment.
- Once medicine has been dispensed for you, it cannot be returned to the supply chain and cannot be refunded. This is a medicines-safety rule, not a commercial one.
Plans, billing and cancellation
- Monthly plan: billed monthly, with your treatment shipped as a three-month supply each quarter. It has a three-month minimum term, and you can cancel from the end of that term; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
- Quarterly plan: billed every three months for the same three-month supply. You can cancel at any time, taking effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
- The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details never reach fira.
- When you cancel, nothing further is billed, anything already dispensed still arrives, and the no-refund rule above applies to dispensed medicine only.
Delivery
Treatment is shipped as a three-month supply to the UK delivery address on your account. Keep your delivery address up to date; medicine delivered to an old address you forgot to change is still treated as delivered.
Your account
Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account unless we have failed in our own security obligations. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has accessed it.
Leaving
You can cancel your plan as described above, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time as described in our privacy policy. We do not make leaving harder than joining.
Our responsibility to you
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for foreseeable loss we cause by failing in that duty, and nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. We are not responsible for problems caused by inaccurate answers, or by events genuinely outside our control, though we will always try to put things right first.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell you before the change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel as described above.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, though nothing takes away protections you have as a consumer. If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. You can write to us about these terms at our registered address above.
